Ruby Potash
Graduate Student
Ruby Potash is a PhD student in Psychological Sciences at the University of Connecticut. She is originally from Westchester, NY and earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience from Northeastern University. After graduating, she worked in Boston as a Program Manager at the Meditation Research Program studying the neuroscience of advanced meditation using modalities such as 7T MRI, high-density MEG-EEG, and behavioral data. Her academic interests include investigating the mechanisms of advanced meditative states, stages, and endpoints. As a TRANSdisciplinary Convergence in Educational Neuroscience Doctoral (TRANSCEND) program fellow, Ruby is excited to collaborate in cross-disciplinary educational neuroscience work fused with her interests in cognitive neuroscience and advanced meditation. Outside of the lab, she enjoys meditation, yoga, reading and trying out new coffee shops.
